Our Signature Istanbul Food Tour

Signature Anatolian Wonders Istanbul Food Tour
Sale Price: €59.00 Original Price: €79.00

This is a slow, small-group food tour through Kadıköy, one of Istanbul’s most lived-in neighborhoods. We walk, eat, pause, and talk our way through markets, backstreets, and local spots that people here actually return to.

Kadıköy is where Istanbul eats daily. It’s busy, imperfect, loud in places, calm in others and full of food that explains how the city really works.

Our company ethos

Anthony Bourdain once said:

“Food is everything we are. It’s an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling, your personal history.”

That’s exactly how we see Istanbul.

In Turkish, we say “Sofra birleştirir.”
The table brings people together.

This city doesn’t reveal itself through monuments alone — it reveals itself through bakeries opening at dawn, crowded lunch counters, ferry snacks eaten standing up, and dinners that stretch longer than planned. Istanbul lives at the table.

Our food tours are about eating with curiosity, not ticking boxes. We care more about why a dish exists than memorizing names. Why tea is always offered. Why certain foods belong to certain neighborhoods. Why some flavors haven’t changed for hundreds of years.

As we say:
“Can boğazdan gelir.”
Life comes from the throat.
It means food isn’t just fuel — it’s care, comfort, identity, and connection.

We keep groups small, routes thoughtful, and the experience relaxed. No scripts. No performance. Just walking, tasting and talking.

Come hungry. Leave connected.

“This didn’t feel like a tour, it felt like being shown around by a friend.”

"I loved how personal this tour felt. It wasn’t just about food — we learned little things about Istanbul’s history and culture while tasting incredible local snacks. The group was small, so it never felt rushed, and our guide made sure everyone had the best experience. Definitely doing this again next time I’m in the city!"Tim, Germany
